Tropical algebra is like regular algebra, in which multiplication is replaced with addition and addition is replaced with minimum. These tropical operations have seen far-reaching applications to other fields of math, from algebraic geometry to computer science. In this project, we will study tropical analogues of polynomials, vector spaces, and their subspaces.
