A Matrix Population Model (MPM) for a species encodes reproduction rates and survival probabilities into a matrix. We will consider how to build MPMs for species that depend on one another (e.g. a predator-prey relationship) and numerically analyze how species interactions affect population growth. This will primarily be a computational project.
